Wir haben es schon einmal erwähnt - unser Vermieter ist ein Wahnsinn! Er fragt uns wirklich jedes Mal ob wir nicht mit ihm und seiner Familie mitfahren wollen um etwas von Costa Rica zu sehen. Dieses Mal hat sich nur Peter dazu entschlossen mitzufahren (Eva arbeitete brav zu Hause) und zwar nach Buena Vista, am Fuße des Chirripó, dem höchsten Berg in Costa Rica mit 3800m Höhe. Dort lernte Peter ein Tante von Ronald (Vermieter) kennen, die auch gleich frische Tortillas machte (nirgendwo gibts Bessere). Nachdem wir bei der Tante frische Organgen gepfückt haben fuhren wir weiter zur nächsten Familie. Dort hat man, wenn das Wetter schön ist, einen super Ausblick - Buena Vista! Auch einen Wasserfall gibt es dort. Hinter dem Haus der Familie wird Kaffee angebaut, der unter schwierigsten Umständen geerntet wird - das ist noch ein richtiger Hochlandkaffee!
We have mentioned it several times - our hirer (Ronald) is a great guy! He asks us every time if we would like to come with his family to visit some nice places of Costa Rica! This time only Peter drove with Ronald - to Buena Vista (Eva worked at home), which is on the foot of mountain Chirripó, the highest mountain of Costa Rica with a 3800m height. There Peter met an ant of Ronald which made us fresh tortillas (I never ate better ones). After eating some tortillas and picking fresh oranges we drove to other family members. There you can have a great view of the landscape, if the weahter is fine. There is also a little waterfall and the family has a small coffee plantation. The coffee beans are harvested under aggravated circumstances - that´s real highland coffee!
